About us

Company “KONTINENT” was founded in 2003 by a group of bridge construction professionals.  

The quality and ability to meet even the tightest schedule we demonstrate, enabled rapid development of the Company and rendered possible to expand the scope of our professional orientation.  

  To this day the Company successfully functions in the following fields:

• Motorway infrastructure engineering: bridges, tunnels, junctions, retention walls;
• Hydraulic engineering: reinforced concrete structures as berths, piers, bank and coast protection;
• Construction of oil industry facilities: reinforced concrete foundation for product and feedstock depots, Tank RPDs (Release Prevention Barriers), process racks, frame buildings and other infrastructure facilities.

For the last year “KONTINENT” LLC played its part in construction of the following large infrastructure facilities:

• Construction of foundations for the Bulk Liquid Cargo Terminal phase 2, 3, 4 for “Rosneftbunker” JSC in “Ust’-Luga” Commercial Sea Port, Leningrad Oblast’.
• Construction of foundations for tanks, retention walls, foundation works at oil products and feedstock depots for “NOVATEK” JSC in “Ust’-Luga” Commercial Sea Port, Leningrad Oblast’.
• Sochi (Adler) Airport renovation, Krasnodar region
• Bank protection along the Mzymta river, Krasnodar region

Construction of Olympic facilities “Sochi-2014”

• Motor road from mountain climate resort “Alpika-Servis” to the finish area of “Rosa Khutor” Ski Resort with access ways to the Bobsleigh and Luge Track, Freestyle Center, Snowboard Park and Mountain Olympic Village (design and survey works, construction).
• Construction of the Main Media-Center of the Sochi Olympics, including three-stars accommodation buildings and structures for the media representatives for 600 people.
• Road tunnels for the Sochi Olympic Village Mountain Cluster;
• Caspian Pipeline Consortium Oil Pipeline System. Marine Terminal. Tank Farm and Shore Facilities. Novorossiysk.

Our team is contributed with 1800 people at ten production sites. Every site can function independently with its own Production Engineering Department, Land Survey Office, Procurement Service and equipment. With the operation need the Company is capable of involving up to 900-1000 workers at each production site.

  The major line of our business is concrete works in bridge, hydraulic and industrial construction. They amount to approximately 60% of all construction and installation activities. The volume of concrete poured in 2011 totals in over 102 894 m³. Our own fleet of construction equipment is continually replenished and includes cranes of different types and modifications with rated capacity of up to 100 tons inclusive, truck-mounted concrete pumps, loaders, dump trucks, haulers.

  At present the company is ready to compete for EPC contracts for construction and rehabilitation of transport, hydraulic and industrial facilities.
